Dynamics CRM 2015 Calculate Rollup Field (Workflow Activity) will help you to force the Rollup field calculation in any time in your Workflows. The steps to install it is really simple:Download the full SolutionImport Solution in your Dynamics CRM 2015 environmentThe to use it, you will have a new Workflow Activity Action:Then you have to pass two parameters:. FieldName: The Rollup field Name of the parent entity. Parent RecordURL: You must to select the Parent field called Record URLNote: The Parent Record URL, is a standard feature of Dynamics CRM, taht contains the full URL of a record. In this URL you have the entity type, and the record GUID. Right now this is the only way we have to pass a 'Dynamic' EntityReference (with not hard coding an entity type) to Workflows Activities. If you pass this string URL as a parameter, in the Workflow Activity you can retrieve this entity Reference.Done! You can execute or launch your Workflows with this new feature!
Sam,In SharePoint 365 webpage I have created a new SharePoint List called 'MyTestList'. Using SharePoint Designer 2013 I have editted the list and enabled 'Allow management of content types'. Then I created a column 'MyDate' thathas a type of Date & Time (Date Only), I used CTRL+S to save and synchronize with SharePoint 365 webpage and then I followed your given instructions:1. I created new column in my list called 'Today' that has a type of single line text. I used CTRL+S.2.
In the workflow, I current have the following: Set FinalDowntimeScore to CurrentItem:Downtime Score. When I log both to workflow history, they both show 0 in history. Nothing is copying. The calculated field is a number and I tried both number and text fields for FinalDowntimeScore. This is within SharePoint 2013 and using SharePoint Designer 2013. Advanced Open Workflow (AOW) is a module for SuiteCRM, which allows users to create custom workflow processes. This module allows users to activate various system actions depending on the conditions of any SuiteCRM module. Create a workflow process. You can create workflow processes by navigating to the ‘WorkFlow’ module within SuiteCRM.
I created new calculated column in my list called 'Validity' that has a return type of Date & Time (Date Only). I entered the formula: =IF(MyDateInformation management policy settings- Content type policies- click 'Item'3. Now tick 'Enable Retention' check box and click 'add a retention stage' it will gives you pop up4. Fill time period with 'Created Date' + 1 days, In action drop-down select 'Start a workflow' and chose your workflow which you create at step 1. Finally select repeating reassurance check box and select recurrence period as 1 day (for your ref. Plssee below pic.)Once you done above steps, it will automatically update list item daily and update today value in calculated field. I already tested and its working perfectly.

If you find any difficulties please let me know, thanks. Hello SamDany,Thanks for your reply. In SharePoint List I have a column named 'My date', it's type isDate Only. Column named 'Validity' has a calculated value defined by this formula:=IF(TEXT(My date,'DD-MM-YYYY'). Hi Ignas,1.Create new field in your list called 'Today' as single line text.2.In 'validity' column enter the calculation as: =IF(MyDate. Hi Sam,I haven't seen any replies here in a while.I wanted a SharePoint List to update itself and hide those list items, that are outdated.
The column with a calculated value shows if list item (e.g., having MyDate value) is valid or not. To automatically update a column with a calculated value it is notpossible or I have not found any resources.Fortunately, there is another way. Instead of usual SharePoint List it is possible to add a SharePoint Application calledTasks. Tasks is a quite different SharePoint List. It has time-tracking of the tasks. It is also possible to customize this list. When adding a task (list element) it is possible to enter values in dateand due-date fields.
The list looks like it is live sort of. After each refresh or re-accessing the list, it shows updated status ofdate and/or due-date field. If it was today's date, the element's field with today's date would show 'Today'.
If tomorrow came, the same element's field would show Yesterday. To show list items that only have valid dates, itis possible to create a list view that only shows the items where dateand/or due-date fields are equal to Today.Regards,Ignas.

Hifor daily calculation, use a scheduled powershell scriptFor one shot changes, every time you open an item, the calculated column is updated - so it's on you to set the formulaIf you need more action, not necesarry related to that item ( like updating other items/list, sending emails creating tasks and so on ) you can use workflows.Regarding the formula, if one or more of existing replies fixed your issue, please mark as an answer. If not, please send more details about what you need to calculateThanksRomeo Donca, Orange Romania (MCSE, MCITP, CCNA) Please Mark As Answer if my post solves your problem or Vote As Helpful if the post has been helpful for you.
